All I can say right now is that I am completely stunned and awed at the sheer spectacle and sensationalism of the American Political Process. I fully appreciate Democracy, and as a Canadian, I also must admit how much I admire the fact that Americans actually get out there and vote. I also must say that one thing you can say about American politicians is that they make an effort to incite young people into random acts of voting. From Canada, I can look south and shake my head. Not for a lack of understanding the issues, but I can't wrap my head around the media bonanza.

But I'll watch...

A new week

Well, here we are at November, and I guess there is no denying it anymore that winter will soon be upon us. Just the thought of a single snowflake is enough to make me want to board up my windows and settle in for a frenzied season of cabin fever and too much time on the computer.

I've been toying around with a few mockups for a a potential client that is interested in bringing their home cut flowers/ bulb selling business into the internet age. Anything earthy or "green" has lots of possibilities when it comes to designing, but when I set out trolling through my usual go-to sites I was surprised to find that there was a lack of lists or articles covering neat or interesting gardening or flower themed sites so I think that I will take some time to compile a small list.

Another great post from Chris Spooner today; an excellent roundup of hand-drawn/ doodle themed sites. This was a great roundup! Lots of creative and original sites out there, and I always count on Chris to find them!
